hahahha gelak lagi sbb nak abeskan N3 pasal Korea macam boleh berjanggut ke lantai...anyway...4th day weolls just jalan2 ke Insa-dong cari souvenirs yg masih x terbeli, Namdaemun dan Myeongdong.... flight malam so we had another 1 day to killed. As a shoppaholic, last day is like Happy hour sbb nak abiskan note2 Korea yg masih ade yg xdigunakan.... namun, xbanyak sgt hasil tangkapan sbb Korea is diff sampai xtau nak beli apa.... hanya berjaya beli mende2 di bawah ni jek...

ok sbnrnya menyesal mak beli brooch ni sbb ya Tuhan...mahal kooooo... ni bape ketul ni rege dekat RM700++ oh my gucci.... mek yg menjual tu tipu pon aku telan jek..hahahha padahal aku dok convert jek rege ke RM mase haggle dgn dia..kedekut sangat nk turun harga...uolls kalau ke Namdaemun tu tanye2la mane2 org yg tau port brooch murah... tapikan to justify and comfort myself, brooch ni rege RM200++ di Jalan TAR..itu jualah pujukan sigenggeng (laki aku) kpd aku..jd aku punya menyesal 50% jela... hahaha..eh now pakai g office semua org perasan brooch aku...hahaha kira aku tarik balik la menyesal aku tuh....tapi uolls batu dia ORI ok.....(^,^)

hm.... hini koleksi souvenirs fav yg weolls kumpul....tapi 2 dah diberli kepada my c's and in law...syg tapi xpe syg tu berkat kalau diberi kpd org lain...tol x...... ini beli di Insa-dong... tips nye...uolls beli jela souvenirs kat sane...harga boleh tawar sambil gelak2 sbb diorg punya english quit fluent & very2 friendly  Ahjushi yg aku beli ni mmg terrrbaikkk... tak la mcm kat Namdaemun...diorg agak brutal sket n xfriendly... xbest sgt..

aku beli shortglass traditional soju ni.... hahaha pekejadah beli botol arak kan... anggap jela ini botol susu diorg..haha.....kesok ati xdpt shortglass HRC...tu jela sbbnye beli menatang ni... ini pon uolls bole cari di Insa-dong...harga dalam urm..bape ek...RM25++ rasenye....

anak menakan aku sebok nak sudu...nak sudu... maka beli juolah sudu macam kat Malaysia sume org makan pakai tangan........ha ni murah..dlm RM5 je sepasang...ok la...feeling pe skang makan meggie pakai sudu Korea..."ko ado" haha

tengok blogger lain beli FM bundle gini....so purposely carik..rupenye mmg diorg jual berpapan2 sbb tau tourist mesti borong mcm nk bg satu kampung... mak pon borong jua....yela...mak beri pd officemate sekalian, friends & family......we have this culture of exchanging FM in the office, coz whenever weolls outing, conference ke, course ke mmg xlupe nak beli....big boss pon mcm tu jugek..sampai colleague g Kenya pon aku kirim...dpt jugek tanduk badak sumbu katenye..aku iyekan jela...hahahhah

now shirt pulak....sekali lagi...beli la kat Insa-dong.... murah, and byk design...... tapi size Korean la.. sian tebbybear aku..hahaha saiz US ni jarang2 ditemui disini...dia dpt 2 jek...yg lain aku punya....tak mcm mase aku shop kat UK...baju aku 1 jek...lain sume baju dia....fyneeeeee

ok pembelian seterusnya adalah berdasarkan nafsu semata-mata... uolls nak tau..diorg ni xkire jantan ke ladies ke sume Beauty Cautious.... melambak2 jual masker..so tipah pon gatal jugek beli..ade la dalam 2 pek...dgn ntah hape2 lagi..beli eyebrow line, eyeliner n mcm2....disinun tipah berabes dgn cost almost the same jek dgn brg di Malaysia...kate murah.. na ah.. T.I.P.U.... their currency is merely like USD...3 times ours.... so tipah tongkat dagu bile balik2 umah mengira bape yg abes..hahha

ha yg ni penemuan sekaligus pembelian paling berharga semasa trip kali ini.... ADIDAS Bagpack yg sgt stylo! terima kasih kepada sang suami kerana endorse pembelian.... i really like it..color is so vibrant and it's Korean! coz each of every single Korean carry this kind of bag....hehhe..so kire bile tgk n pakai teringat2 Lee Dong Wok la...harga dia agak mahal banding Adidas in Malaysia..dalam RM300+  rasenye sbb ade leather sikit kot.... tp dh suke...sang suami pon suke..beli jela...

ini pula koleksi ubat-ubatan yang dibeli akibat serangan mengejut di bahagian lutut akibat jalan terlalu banyak non-stop.....yg hijau tu harga dia RM30!!!! mahalnye la kan minyak panas kat sini RM10 dh dpt...manakala yg merah tu murah RM15 jek....tapi uolls, kedua2 di atas TIDAK BERKESAN ye...ulang taip TIDAK BERKESAN..... aku sampai beli koyok sume pon xjalan.... sampai Malaysia baru kesakitan aku reda! fyneee xleh dok obersea sbb mak bidan urut xde!

ok last one....akibat kesan sampingan kejatuhan suhu sehingga -3c di sana...balik Malaysia aku terpaksa menjalani beberapa rawatan susulan specially skin treatment!! skin-> dry, eye->dark circle, lips->crack, skin tone->spot everywhere and need lot's of moisturizer..... it takes 2 weeks to be myself again! and Alhamdulillah..i dun need SKII or any expensive skin repair.... mak pakai cap ayam Pond's jek n berkesan as usual... lgpon mak pakai dr zaman skolah lagi..penah dah pakai SKII, Lancome, Clinique n mcm2 lagi la... tp sume make my skin worst..so wasatiah jek guna pond's...jimattttttt.....

rindu jugak kadang2 bile tgk cite Korea kat tv..rase nk pegi lagi...InsyaAllah one fine day....

HOW TO GO

• Line 4- color baby blue- turun dongdaemun station;
• Line 1 – color blue – turun cheongyangni station
• Line jungang – color turquoise-turun sanbong station
• Line gyeongchun –turun gapyeong station
• Dari gapyeong station- keluar dari bangunan- amik taxi cakap pegi namiseom
• Tambang taxi KRW3,000
• Sampai jeti- mik feri (KRW8,000 termasuk tiket masuk name)

(Ferry trips every 10-20 minit. Jgn lupe amik map masa beli tiket)

length of journey ke nami island takes almost 2 hour from Seoul, agak jauh sbb uolls kene tukar2 train..banyak plak tu..tambah2 dengan sengal2 ubi weolls pening lagi nak cari so agak lame la..therefore please take a proper breakfast ok! so sampai2 jek terus naik SONATA sbb saje nak naik..kat Malaysia siap test drive sonata 2.0 ..tp taxi je ko kat korea kelasss kan...korean bangga btl dgn nasional car..ko bangge x? eh hello aku bangge ye..sbb weolls pon ade proton hape kat umah...tapi mesti ade yg x kan? bajet xnak naik nasional car nk jepun jekkkk, sanggup makan maggie tiap bulan sbb byr honca civic..na ah..xkelasss tau.. walau naik kelisa tp kalau duit dlm purse tu riban2 baru la kelassss kan? hehhe merapu jap..anyway sukeati ko la kan... ok, lepas tu terus beli tix ferry and entrance...berduyun la ramainye manusia ke nami ni..ape la yg best sgt???

hm..oh ini nami island rupenye. for us EXAGGERATE je la...it was so small, and nothing but landscape. cume pokok dia tegak2 and ditanam sejajar antara satu sama lain. ya it was different and what can i say unique on its owned. hm...what we did is just enjoyed the moment!

ok, jangan risau kat nami ade tpt makan yg uolls bole makan. Drama cafe/Cafe Yonga jiga tepi galeri winter sonata. weolls kelaparan and the only place yg weoll tuju is this cafe. terus order ape yg ade jek...wif juice..ya ampun rase makan ni mcm nikmat tak terhimgga macam sedap kelasssss sgt la makanan dia..padahal kimchi n telo mata kebau jek. fuh! menjilat jari! lepas kenyang sambung jalan and photoshoot.....then bile abis pusing2 terus amik ferry semula untuk gerak ke ITAEWON!

ok right after jalan2 di itaewon weolls balik ke hotel dan terus ke Dongdaemun market...xbuat pape pon just check-out doota yg diorg ckp best...

DONGDAEMUN MARKET

ok dongdaemun ni ade pasar biase dan ade shopping mall, dah masuk doota tapi xde hasil tangkapan..hahha aku pon pelik slalu ade jek yg aku rembat...

last-last kuar dr doota, jalan2 carik waffle lagi! sedapnye strawberry waffle and hot choc! it compliment each other....sblm balik hotel rest tapau banana milk and strawberry....strawberry dia mmg manis and sedap....haritu ade jual kat midvalley tapi xsempat plak nak beli....

esoknya balik pulak..... rase mcm xnak...tapi lebih kuat rase nak baliknye sbb kaki sakit yg amat and rindu tomyam and nak makan ayam sekor...hahahha mak vegi ok kat sini...

Trip to Seoul Korea - Day 2 [Part 2]

Assalamualaikum uolls,

hm....maafla, aku mmg nak sambung N3 ni..tapi mcm2 dugaan plak mendatang. Alhamdulillah, datang juo semangat nak menaip-naip semula dengan tegar dan tekunnya.. ok...2nd day sambung..harini merupakan hari paling hectic yang sampai ptg kitorg lenjan jalan2 sampai nak pengsan...and Tuhan mmg nak duga aku, lutut mak ketaq and sengal2 dalam cuaca sejuk yg sampai -2c tu...maka, aktiviti mengejar sub-way jadik mcm haram J...namun mak tabahkan juo ati untuk melihat negara org...sampaikan mak beli ubat sapu dengan bertekak2 dgn pharmacy sbb tak paham ape yg aku perlukan! grrrr~~ tabah jek rasenye waktu itu.. ! ok, lepas je jalan2 dr Bukchon Hanok Village kami terus decide ke Insadong..patutnya weolls cari subway untuk ke Angguk Station, tapi org bijak ikut SIGNBOARD HIWAY jek (tangan di bahu mata tejojol)..kaki sakit, cuaca sejuk ttp tabah jalan sampai jumpe..kire lepas ni kalau naik kereta ke dok korea ke tau dah la jalan2 utama kat sane (nada geram~)..agak macam harem tapi sbb kat korea, mak senyum jek..sambil pujuk kaki, "bukan byk kali pon nk dtg sini" fyne! weolls terus ke INSADONG ye kwn2..mari layan gambo..

INSADONG

HOW TO GO INSADONG:

• ambil train dan turun Anguk station 
• souvenir is the best and cheapest here compare to Namdaemun..and pls beli la t-shirt byk2 kat sini..design namdaemun agakla warga emas.. tshirt dia best! and aku beli sudu bibimbap tu..ala2 jakun la sbb suke sudu panjang tu...haha

CHEONGGYECHEON STREAM

kalau uolls layan jalan di Insadong hingga ke hujung, maka uolls akan jumpa cheoggyecheon stream ni (agak2 lepas 2 simpang jalan jugak la ko). JALAN LAGI! kan bijak katenye...soh buat research kedudukan train xnak! maapla mak ambil kesempatan untuk mengajar seseorang tu...itu pon kalau dia rase aku perli dia la..sape? sape la partner aku dlm trip ni agaknye? grrrrrr~ sedih, kesan kesakitan hingga kini, mak terpaksa ke spa berabis beratus urut ko...takpela Tuhan duga mak camni...mak terime je Alhamdulillah. ok...gile jauh kitorg jalan lagi sampai la jumpe stream ni, cantik, bersih and bersih..moga2 River of Life KL tu benchmark projek ni. kenape la aku jauh2 ni dtg tgk sungai diorg padahal melambak sungai kat M'sia tu kan.. pk2 kan la ye YB2 M'sia...

NAMSAN TOWER

ok, masa berbaki lagi, weolls pon tabah jalan dr stream ke Sejong hotel..kaedahnye jalan jek terus jumpe sejong hotel pastu nampak signboard ke namsan park...ya ampun jauhnye mendaki bukit dengan tabah, jumpe hospital, girls school dan sebagainyela..dengan muke penat, kuatkan jugak semangat sampai la nampak cabel car atas kepale..rupe2nye dah sampai ke destinasi... hm.. jgn ikut care weolls ye uolls sbb weolls kaedah redah je la bedah.. if uolls ikut proper nasihat traveler lain, uolls mmg akan akan jalan between building, siap jumpe namsan guesthouse..nnti aku share kaedah sebenarnya ok!

HOW TO GO NAMSAN TOWER

• Tower dekat dengan Myeong-dong- EXIT 4
• You can either take the exit 2 or 3 from Myeongdong subway station
• Then, walk pass 7-Eleven and GS-25 convenience stores on your right.
• Walk up the hill until you find Namsan guesthouse 3, then Namsan guesthouse 2 and lastly A –Namsan guesthouse 1 (the furthest from Myeongdong station all on your left and walk just a tiny bit more to reach B -Namsan Tower Cable Car Station.

MYEONG-DONG FASHION STREET

lepas balik dr namsan tower weolls balik bilik untuk rehat dan solat lepas siap sume dlm lepas maghrib kitorg g myeong-dong plak..well this is my fav...hahha well knowing that the currency is a bit pricey.. and ya it's more or less mcm dollar, for me miskin tegar bandar di putrajaya, mmg la rase mahal sgt. so aku usha jek mlm ni sbb rase mcm nak telentang sgt kat jalan raye memikirkan badan yang dah nak retak seribu..

Trip to Seoul Korea - Day 2 [Part 1]

Hai uollss...

maafkan saya...baru berkesempatan nak update blog, makan mase nak amik mood mengarang. 8-). ok 2nd day was really challenging. huhu...sbbkan short trip, we have to compact everything in 1 day....come let's start with:

Namdaemun Market.

ok, what do we have here, sbb hotel is just cross the road to Namdaemun, kitorg pon pakat nak jengah ape ade di sana..yang ada dr baju winter jenis, bulu2, long coat, bubble, tshirt, suar dalam, baju dalam, ladies accessories, kuih-muih ntah hape2, money changer and ape2 yg ko nak la ade jual kat sini...haha... pendek kate, Namdaemun is mere to our Petaling Street..yeay 1:1.. at least Malaysia pon ada kan..(^,^) bangga~... then pusing2 for 15 minutes, took our breakfast at the Paris Baguette and start jalan sampai nak putus urat kentut!

HOW TO GO NAMDAEMUN MARKET

1. take line no.4 (blue line) to Namdaemun
2. get off at the Hoehyeon station EXIT no. 4 (u have to cross the road to Gate 6 Namdaemun Market) 

Deoksugung Palace/Gyeongbuk-gung/National Folk Museum

sbb ade lebih kurang 3-4 palace di Istana, kami hanya pilih ke Deoksugung Palace which is really nearby to Namdaemun. Walking distance is about 10-15 minutes. U'll never get tired in cold weather and the excitement is just around the corner. maka, makin galak jalan kaki menuju ke Deoksugung walhal boleh jek amik subway. fuh..tak tau mana datang ketabahan hati nak jalan tu..padahal dalam itenerary yang dah print cantik2 tu ade direction naik subway...huhuh tunggu natijahnye nanti yek... mari lihat ape ade di sane...

HOW TO GO DEOKSU-GUNG PALACE

1. Ada 2 line subway ke sini. Naik subway city hall -Line 1 color putih- EXIT 2 ATAU Line 2 Color hijau- EXIT 3
2. Deoksu-gung palace terletak dihadapan City Hall Buildin
3. Entrance fee: KRW1,000
4. Masa sesuai semasa changing of guard [11.00am/2.00pm/3.30pm]

Gwanghwamun Square

On the way ke Gyeongbukgung palace, kitorg jumpa gwanghwamun square where the great King Sejong statue is built. mmg beso la... so ini la king sejong yang cipta huruf2 hangul for korean...

 btl ckp diorg2 yg dh sampai..byk gile menatang i ni utk tourist reference...ce cari kat negara kita yg tercinta?

haaaa ntah mogok ape dia buat....kemas je kan....xde la haru biru bakar divider jalan...pakai baju pink ke...biru terang ke...btl x? hahahha time ni byk polis..

HOW TO GO GWANHWAMUN SQUARE

1. keluar dr Deoksugun jalan belok kiri...jalan kaki dalam 500mtr 
2. uolls nnti nampak tugu pakcik pegang buku kale emas tu dari jauh...hehe

Gyeongbuk-gung Palace/National Folk Museum/Bukchon Hanok Village

then, kami terus jalan ke Gyeongbuk-gung palace...UNFORTUNATELY...it was closed on tuesday... same goes to National Folk Museum... what we do is only taking pictures from outside the gate..(bukti telah sampai haha) and walk towards Bukchon Hanok Village. ok... natijah berjalan dah menampakkan belang ketika ini...kaki pon dah sakit becoz it was freezing cold almost -1c. tapi kugagahi juo... haha...tapi kitorg xjengah pon every spot di Hanok village tu..dek kerana kelaparan...kepenatan jalan kaki...kami take 5 at coffe jom sambil makan waffle yg sedap jilat kaki tu! xde kat M'sia hokey.

 

HOW TO GO GYEONGBUK-GUNG PALACE

1. If naik train:  Gyeongbukgung station – line 3 color oren – EXIT5 ATAUGwanghamun station – line 5 color purple – EXIT2

HOW TO GO BUKCON HANOK VILLAGE

1. X jauh dr geongbukgung palace
2. 10-15 minit jalan kaki
3. If naik train :Turun Anguk Station (line 3 color oren – EXIT 2) ATAU Jalan 300 meter & cari papan 
4. Dapatkan peta kawasan di kaunter informasi
5. Ade 8 photospot yang terbaik boleh dilawati

Hey uolls,

ok i'm blogging this while watching Just Married at FMP..RIP Brittany Murphy.. haha ok, though this is a tiring day for me, still i'm taking this extra energy to share what we've been through last week in KOREA! fuh...yeay it's a nice place to be ..BUT let's find out what we've seen and think about Korea.. Now, first day departed from LCCT at 2.00pm..and arrived at Incheon International Airport at 9.30pm (korean time). i kinda traumatic with long journey since my last 14hours travel to london.. suffocate with the air, the ahjumma next to us, the snoring bear (krohh krohhh grrrr). Oh my AA, it's a torture! but in optimizing cost, what else we can choose?. extra $ for extra comfort la kan..anyway, lots of research done prior to depart. where to stay, what to eat, what to buy, what to use, which transport bla bla bla... gazillion thanks to the travelholic blogger.. org kate sharing is very much shows that u care! hehehhe maka mak cedok mana2 yg patut...

as usual, long que for immigration..but suddenly genggeng lost from my sight..this can't be good la kan. then tentibe one of the officer called me and i saw genggeng with him. oh great! kene tahan ke? the officer asked me " u married him? what his last education background? itu ini" than i asked him back "is there any problem with my husband? is he alright?" he replied "his name is similar to one of our blacklist" ~pengsan (@.@)... kesian genggeng..sib baik tak lama dalam detention room..what the fuel betol ajushi ni..heyyy spoil mood pijak kaki kat Korea...huhuhu dah la very damn long que..  i'm prone to criticize right after the incident! please dunt blame me ye

ok proceed. once everything clear at the immigration desk and luggage...we ran off to find the best way to hotel. clueless! what we did is follow the crowed and heading towards this so called information desk for inquiries. unfortunately at that point of time, the only way to Seoul is by catching the train to Seoul station via AREX and change to subway.

at first, we decide to stay at Skypark or IBIS near Myeon-dong. but considering cost and what not, we decided to stayed at budget hotel. of all the accommodation i read, genggeng is more interested for Seoul Backpakers Hotel..yup mesmerizing website, received the Good Stay award by the Korean Tourism Authority BUT standard la indah kabo dari rupe...eh..bagi aku la kan..tp aku layan jela..now, it's important for u guys to really do your research whenever u decide to travel. lucky me, i did bring my toothbrush, soap,  & toothpaste. the only thing i usually buy whenever i go abroad is shampoo. and the best part is, the hotel only provide u a very tiny bath towel u can't even reach your armpit! what the heck! hahahha luckily again i brought every contingencies as my instinct strongly predict what ever might happen to us..(minyak gamat panas pon mak bawak ye)...kehkeh..Seoul backpackers have 2 branches in Seoul, 1 in myeon-dong and another one which we choose to stay at Namdaemun market..they said that the Namdaemun branch is quit new..which part is new? yeay it confused me! xtau pon ape yg baru nyah

ok come let me share how to get here from airport

HOW TO GO SEOUL BACKPACKERS HOSTEL NAMDAEMUN BRANCH

1. buy T-Money at 7E and advisable to reload up till KRW20,000 if u wish to travel like us (cukup2 kire nak reload sikit jek kalau nak jalan byk sgt..just nice);
2. follow the airport railroad sign to catch the AREX (airport train) to Seoul Station;
3. from Seoul Station transfer to Line No.4 for Dangogae (blue line);
4. get off at the Hoehyeon Station (after 1 station);
5. go for EXIT No. 4;
6. go straight (like 10 steps) turn to the left, u'll see some sort of a hill, go straight u'll see kedai runcit and u'll find Seoul Backpackers Hostel on ur left after 1 mnt walk.
